After careful and thoughtful consideration, we are proud to announce that a new date has been confirmed for Temptation Island 5. The event was postponed on the original date of June 25 due to security concerns which surfaced amid final preparations.
The BVI’s Premier Summer Event Will Officially Be Held On August 20, 2016.
We decided to postpone the event out of an abundance of caution after a security threat was discovered. Placing an emphasis on the safety of our patrons, we collaborated with local authorities to ensure security for patrons by postponing the event.
We have consulted with the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, The Her Majesty’s Customs Department, and other organizations to ensure safety for the event and its patrons while eliminating any other potential threats.
There will be thorough security checks conducted by police and customs before, during, and after the event, on both land and sea. Your safety and experience at the Temptation Island is of utmost importance to us and that is why we are taking the necessary measures.
The new date August 20, 2016, is later than the event is usually held, and this date was selected to respect the BVI’s festival season and the many other events which are taking place this summer.
All ticket holders are advised to hold on to their tickets and follow updates on TI website and social media channels as there will be some special rewards just for you.
We are dedicated to delivering an unforgettable experience while providing heightened security and working to prevent any risks. The event was first held in 2012 and has been held each summer since then at the Ocean 7 Beach Club on Peter Island.
Each year we aim to attract residents and vacationing tourists, offering an eclectic blend of new and classic Soca, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, R&B, and more.
